SATANIC UTTERANCES
The recent observation of the almighty American president followed by his secretary of state’s utterances, about the food crisis and the reason being the demand for better nutritious food by middleclass Indians and Chinese, because of their increasing purchasing capacity, which means 350 to 400 million middleclass population of India combined with Chinese middle class, according to him, has prospered enough to have caused the world food crisis.
How cultureless and insensitive they are is proved beyond doubt. Their lack of knowledge of our living conditions compared to theirs and the simple statistics available can prove them wrong, if we take per capita food consumption the rate roughly is around 5:1 [Which means spending ratio is 5times more than an Indian in comparison to an American person’s food and beverage intake ] More over, they have proved their worthless attitude, before a few years when we witnessed a news item on TV showing US secretary of state searching for purchase of a pair of slippers worth thousands of dollars, while her fellow countrymen was devastated by the fury of ‘Katrina’ the typhoon, which killed thousands while wreaking homes of the poorest of US citizens in one of their poorest state new Orleans.
Their insensitivity and lack of understanding of the world as a whole, is as limited as can be seen by their untimely slip of the tongue and occasional bursts resulting in showcasing their stupidity and ignorance of the highest level. Let us examine the facts and figures while feeling pity for the Americans who deserve a better and knowledgeable president than Mr. Bush.
Firstly, the main reason for the present food crisis is due to the transformation of land meant for cultivation of food in to products cultivated for the purpose of making bio fuel etc, this has taken its toll on the world food scenario. The Europeans have already understood the graveness of the situation and have rolled back their policies of cultivation meant for bio fuel especially Scandinavian countries, followed by more, have already understood the root cause of the problem, just as they have understood the grave situation of global warming more than any other developed countries. They were at least brave enough to admit their blunder unlike the U S, who still blames all and sundry but refuses to acknowledge their share, which is actually more than the combined share of all the rest of the world, if we carefully analyze the root causes of global warming and global food crisis. We can see that the climate and disastrous happenings due to the fury of the nature has become more and more frequent with more powerful destructions than we have ever experienced in the known past. Last century onwards and especially during the last decade the Tsunamis, Typhoons , storms ,hurricanes and earthquakes have been more pronounced and the frequency has become more and more quicker than, any time in the history of mankind [Recorded History]. Ignoring all these tell tale signs of bad omen will prove to be very dangerous and the existence of earth’s population and the chances of survival are becoming more and more remote. Adding to all our woes is leaders like Mr. Bush with little knowledge, which is more dangerous than having no knowledge at all.
[ 2 ]
Secondly, Farmers especially in developing countries such as India, has been the most neglected lot among our populace. It has become a thankless job and instead of encouraging we have been discouraging them by not subsidizing and not giving them their due recognition, similarly, like adding insult to injury, we have ignored their pleas and distress calls and the number of farmer suicides are daily news with the govt. machinery dragging their feet all along by showcasing India Shining campaign by concentrating on few individual performances like Mittals, Ambani’s and Tata’s who were given priority over our poor farmers, mainly because they are unable to contribute much to the coffers of all political parties, who favored and gave great publicity and backing of the entire Govt. Machinery for conquering foreign entities and take over bids of these few individuals and their missions such as the Arcelor and Corrus deals to name a few examples. While few Indians made it to the elite and richest list by Forbes magazine our farmers were committing suicides due to their inability to pay off the money lenders, The blame should also be shared by the media who along with the Govt. was busy reading the Forbes list and highlighting the achievements of these individuals on their cover stories and farmer distress and suicides found no space among the media or on the govt. agenda. Few of those reports were lost in the basking in glory of those business guys who made it rich. How ever, it is comforting to know that we have been self sufficient in our food needs for more than 3 decades and yet again has had a good harvest this year with the grace of god.
Recently, our Govt. was so busy with the nuclear deal and the urgency of power generation while on the other side people were on the verge of starvation and the poor farmers were still fighting for survival. It is a well known fact that if we go for the nuclear deal, we are certainly inviting trouble. No body has yet found a way of disposal of the spent fuel from the nuclear power plants, which is highly toxic and poisonous and the radiation effect will last even after decades.
The Americans are certainly going to dump the nuclear waste in India, and Bhopal like happenings can be expected in huge numbers in regular intervals. There are so many other means and ways for meeting our energy requirements for instance wind, solar, hydro electric power generation, and the vast reserves of natural gas also can generate energy. In all the above energy sources wastages involved are minimal nor do they have any radiation hazards which again has direct link causing cancers and so many other ill effects. Most importantly our ecological balance also has to be maintained by least polluting ways of energy creation such as windmills, solar panels and hydro electric energy from water falls natural or even man made.
Now even after thousands of farmer suicides and the imminent threat of food crisis, we are still turning a blind eye towards farm requirements. All countries need to initiate concrete and speedy actions, which is the need of the hour rather than blaming each other for the causes. Mr. Bush is clearly beating around the bush rather than addressing the real issue.
[3]
Thirdly, the Americans are the real spendthrifts. They are the most consumerists among all the countries; just imagine where all those Red Indians and Animals have gone? They have vanished from America and in real they have all been killed by the wild western cowboys and out of sheer habit which necessitates killing they have started again, The best example more than any thing is the huge amount spent [trillions of dollars] for wars which has no meaning in the present crisis situation. The precious trillions are spend for supporting their wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and the result is the millions of lives lost added to the fuel, ammunition and other precious supplies wasted for the useless wars, adding to which, is the wasted labor and wealth.
The real culprits of terrorism is still at large, while U S army is engaged actively and blames all others but not them. They have been in war for past hundreds of years one after the other. Second World War was followed by Vietnam, Cambodia etc, they still have not found any sign of the Weapons of Mass destruction, which they claimed Iraq had in possession. Leave alone Osama Bin laden or for that matter the Taliban. Only thing U S managed so far has been killing of millions of innocent Iraqi’s and Afghan people. They still continue to do the same while; the world is shivering at the thought of the sickening food crisis in the near future.
The time has come for us to stand up and be counted against the war against the American blunders against the enemies of the world. We have to raise our voice now or it may be too late, for a full blown food crisis, the signs are already there to be seen in Africa, before long it is bound to cover the entire world including U S and may impact in such a way wiping off at least one third of the worlds’ population because, they are the most poor and vulnerable lot on earth. The ultimate truth is that the Americans are the real culprits and they are the ones floundering and spending and are the greediest among all the nations of the world.

The War with no end in sight
THE WAR THAT WAS UNNECESSARY
We all have been witness to a bloody war which has killed over a million Iraqi’s and has no end in the near future. The country which was already in ruins due to their prolonged war with Iran could not actually get over the shock of one war before the second was thrust upon them. Their economy was already in shambles due to the sanctions over the presumed existence of Weapons of Mass Destruction and the reluctance of their Military dictator Gen.Saddam Hussain, to give up power. He too is no angel as was visible by actions throughout his rein which lasted decades, when he killed thousands of Kurdish rebels presumably with Chemical weapons, more than the Iran’s soldiers who lost their lives during their war with Iraq. He could have at least given up after his Kuwait invasion back fired and gave American soldiers permanent stay in the Middle East. All his actions resulted in death of innocent Iraqi soldiers who had to obey orders.
All said and done the question remains whether was it absolutely necessary to invade Iraq. The UN sponsored inspection was being complied with and they had no clue what so ever to prove Iraq had WMDs in their arsenals. The subsequent sequence which unfolded in UK also did prove that the war mongers had ‘sexed up’ the documents to press hard for an all out war along with the Americans. The US and UK always did maintain that they stood for right against wrong. What right do they have to show for all the innocent lives lost and Iraq still is in deep turmoil killing Hundreds every week at least.
The ever increasing oil price is a direct result of the war in Iraq. There are hundreds of countries who just can’t afford to pay such huge resources on oil alone when their people are on the verge of starvation. Now the situation has reached a point of no return and the war has to go on and on till either all Iraqi’s are dead or all American soldiers involved are dead. Both possibilities are not in near sight. Americans are now like a person who caught a tiger’s tail he just can’t let go for the tiger will eat him nor can he keep on holding forever, he has to run along but for how long?
If they are after the oil reserves, which is obvious, then it is not worth all the lives lost and the end in no sight all the money made by those few Companies as a direct result of the war will find the price they have to pay will be much more and for generations the after effects won’t let them live in peace. Just take the example of Jews who crucified Jesus Christ, they still could not live peacefully even after 30 to 40 generations. The sin was so huge that one just could not rid oneself from the curse of the almighty. Like wise, no one can justify a war spending almost 700 billions a year when there are thousands starving without even one square meal a day.
The only hope for the world is that Mr.Bush has now almost become a lame duck president hence, the most urgent change in views and actions are nearing with a new leader at the helm, the approach also may change but not much, because those who are financing the election campaigns are the same ones who are making a huge profit out of the war and killings and the reality is that no American president ever can become a president without obligations of those very scruples people who finances the campaign with an eye on the future profits. The maximum one can expect from a president is the possibility of a double crossing game after winning the elections which is very unlikely to happen.

GREAT INDIANS
MARK OF A TRUE INDIAN.
The parameters to know whether you are true and genuine Indian is as follows:-
Always make others wait for you. Never turn up exactly on time. You may remember how Saurav Ganguly won tests for India while playing against Australians, he always made Steve Waugh wait for him at the ground for toss and the result is well known.
Never stay in queue, be it for a bus or a movie ticket always look for a short cut and think out ways to overtake others in front of you, there are times when you have to pay a little extra . Such situations warrant bargaining for the least possible bribe you can make. If you are driving make sure the other guy has to take evasive action. Also give a passing curse on the other guy to let him wonder for the rest of the day or if possible for the rest of his life.
Take amble time to see that the work is not finished in time. If you are a public servant look out for ways for either passing the buck or find some ground or other to reject whatever the work that is entrusted on you. If you try hard you may always find something to show as reason enough for rejection or postponing the work.
Never ever appreciate others’ work or achievements. If you think deep you will certainly end up finding some fault with the other guy which may be highlighted for the benefit for the other non performers. If you come across people who are good workers try back biting against them to the boss. The more effective you are in doing so, the more efficient you are and deserve promotion while your foe will end up wondering and confused for the rest of their career.
Your greatness grows when the number of rejections are more and think 24 hrs a day for all the seven days of a week to come out with golden ideas of stalling the work or passing the buck .The more greater Indians are the ones who actually end up higher in the ladders and knows his boss’s weak points and plays a partner role and ensures moving up in their respective careers.
If you find some one on the way needing help or rescue effort take a ‘U’ turn immediately and don’t look back. Also deliberately forget the same.
These are only tit bits for ones journey to become the greatest and true Indian. The more you think the more you will get to hinder the progress of our nation and its people. As you meet more and more people in life your greatness can be proved to that many and also by outliving your compatriots your greater efforts can be beneficial to generations and such great Indians normally do out live most often, than others for they are more anxious and desperate to make their life more and more effective and ‘worthwhile’.
Thoughts of becoming a great Indian has made me look for the traits of those successful Indians but unfortunately could not match their skill and efficiency hence is only a worm out of giants surrounding me in all walks of life.

FOOD SHORTAGE REMEDIES
FARMERS WOES AND GROWING NEED FOR FOOD
Off late we have all experienced the abnormal price rise for food commodities especially day to day provisions and vegetables. The equation is simple in economic terms, the higher the demand the higher the price goes. This simple logic of demand and supply aptly shows why the prices are going higher and higher. We have all contributed to this by not giving enough for our farmers and making their job the most thankless and they have been the most ignored lot among our populace.
If the signs are true and if we are presuming that the world is facing a food and water shortage then the crisis has only begun now. The predictions of some hard thinkers are that we have only reached a stage which is bad, but now onwards it may become worse if drastic and urgent measures are not taken by the whole world as one. This unlike any other issues needs very serious consideration and if we let go this one time, then almost one third of the worlds population is in danger of a famine like situation when people die out of hunger and thirst.
Though the world still has not realized the ominous signs which are obviously pointing towards suffering of the poorest among the world populace, who will be hit early only for others to be effected later. The thrust for all and sundry is to concentrate harder on the agriculture front which is the most pressing issue right now. We have to at least double our production of grains and vegetables as early as possible because the stock is definitely on the decline and some signs such as global warming and unpredictable weather conditions only add to our already precarious position in terms of food and water.
The 97 percentage of our water on earth is not drinkable the rest of 3 percent is also decreasing. Imagine for every tea spoon full of sugar needs at least 250 liters of water to grow the sugar cane required for the production of sugar. The cost of drinking water [pure] has almost caught up with the cost of milk. First signs will be of epidemics born out of contaminated water. Other famine like situations will follow later and most vulnerable lot will always be the poor who can not afford to purchase water if the situation warrants it.
I remember a couple of decades earlier in Kerala people were advised to leave farming and to start earning as entrepreneurs of small scale industrial units. They were discouraged to do farming which was not at all profitable; instead others who made foray in to other sectors were making more money than a farmer who was always fighting and struggling to survive. Government policies all throughout these last few decades have been to encourage other sectors and not farming. The farmers were at the mercy of the god almighty alone for there were very few takers who wanted their children to do farming or enter agriculture production. It was the most disastrous action which has now resulted in gloomy days ahead for the whole world, because the basic needs of any living being first is food and water.
Gone by are the days for remorse or regrets, the need of the hour is to start encouraging people to enter agriculture sector and help all throughout the process for seed selection, bio technology and micro biology will help us in higher production from what ever land there is left for farming, the second phase should be the provision of fertilizers and the assistance and expert advices should also see them through to the harvesting period. The job does not end there, for we also have to ensure that the farmer get a good price for his products. For that to happen, the government can purchase directly from the farmers by giving them value for their work and encouraging their efforts. Such prolonged efforts only can save the world. For our economic stability we have to then supply their products to the ultimate end users after subsidizing. The short fall in capital has to be born by the big corporate and other rich people who have to share such short falls, only then can we survive as a country or for that matter any country in the world. We all can see that among our farming community the present generation is probably the last generation who has willingly spent their life time farming, the next generation will certainly not go their parents’ way because they all must have witnessed the hardship faced by their farming parents, some have even lost their parents out of sheer helplessness which has led to most number of farmer suicides in our country. We must be feeling ashamed of ourselves for having been naïve towards their needs, had we taken timely and appropriate measures lots of lives could have been saved. Now our apathy have made us facing a crisis situation, better be late than never.

FAR FROM THE MADDENING CROWD
FAR FROM THE MADDENING CROWD
Rush and long cues every where, that’s what you encounter where ever you go in India.
Be it for traveling in public transport or in your own mode you are always at risk because you hardly have space enough to be feeling relaxed. Be it for schooling, one is never sure of getting a seat in 90 percent schools around your residence. Be it for a job, you are always competing with thousands and millions and on most occasions for most people it is huge disappointment. Be it for a movie you never can be at ease, as there are again thousands before you. The heading above is the only positive thought that one can think of when you are far from the maddening crowd. Thomas Hardy also must have felt the same suffocation and as a result came out with a Novel titled ‘Far from the madding’, or is it ‘maddening crowd’?
For a person who values his time alone or if he wish to have his privacy, it just can not be even imagined when you are leading a family life, for there are so many of your duties to be attended to as an husband, as a father, as a son as an employee etc . Time alone to be in harmony with himself and the nature, it is highly improbable that one actually can have such a time in his lifetime. Even if you manage such precious moments luckily, one rarely realizes the importance of our own space and time during those times also as there again, we are preoccupied with thoughts of our problems of the past or the probable problems we may encounter in the future.
Life and times in India, a great country in its own ways, is hardly seeing a favorable phase, as there are havoc in most nook and corners of our great nation. Petty politics and selfish leaders have made things worse for our countrymen who have suffered during the last thousands of years due to the never ending incursions from greedier races from around the globe, for all of them came with the only ambition of looting and cheating our most tolerant people over centuries. They all came looking for the treasures and richness, in culture and materials for which India was famous from time immemorial dating back to almost 5000 to 20000 years.
While Europeans, were living in Stone Age and mostly were barbarians with tribes’ culture for thousands of years. Their growth if one may call it so has been the result of copying from our land and culture. The very fact that their majority religion in it self is only 2000 years old proves their lack of culture prior to the birth of Jesus Christ.
Now at last when we sighed with relief that we have managed to throw all those undesirable and greedy lot out of our country, we still have not achieved the peace and tranquility India was known for centuries before the arrival of foreign forces. They took advantage of our laid back and tolerant life styles. Now the time has come for us to sit back and wonder where we are heading to. What are the pit holes on our forward journey? History has taught us the risk of not being prepared for a full scale war, when we least expect, from the most unlikely foe, all have tricked our peace loving people and actually managed to rule us for centuries, at times crushing those lone warriors who showed enough guts to stand up to their enemies.
More than all the material loss and suppression we experienced, that legacy of a foreign administrative style and function has hurt the most our unique culture, we had the best management ethics and most competent and unique administrative rules and lessons but sadly , those trained and educated in western countries blindly started following their way of functioning and for instance the ruling mantra of ‘split and rule’ is still relevant, for our populace have been divided always by caste, religion, state wise, and education wise too. Which religion and culture preaches to split the people for suppressive ruling. What does such a formula aims to achieve and for what reasons, ultimately man is only a visitor and never can own or take away anything than his own soul, which also is corrupted the moment one kills for looting and cheating, such souls only reaches hell instead of heaven according to any of the existing religions in the world.
The Rajas’ and queens’ of the past were the best in terms of civility, especially the ones born to sensitive parents who wish and treat all the citizens equally without any bias and results in lineage with sensitive hearts and intentions only for the good of all and sundry ,how can one inflict pain on others. If one enjoys seeing the pain of others then he is surely sick in mind and needs treatment, and to my mind, the best alternate way of governing instead of democracy, communists and the most dangerous military dictators of today, who at times are ruthless and sadists and have committed more crimes than any cruel animal can ever imagine, is to have a king or queen who is good in heart and soul.
Coming back to our country of today is one of heavy rush and panic stricken than at any time in our history. There are hardly any space left for people, leave alone the fate of those creatures, animals and birds as the forests have been encroached upon by human habitation and wilderness is a word now connected to those wild people and not the wilderness of yester years meaning those thick and wild forest dwellings.
The ultimate inevitable and nightmarish fight of the fittest, who only can survive is now changing to worse situations, wherein the luckiest few only may survive a holocaust or a nuclear leakage, which again is highly possible, considering the number of such mass destructive weapons stocked by so many countries that one has lost count and still does not know who are all in possession of such weapons and the number of stock each may hold, is told to be enough to destroy the world for hundreds of times over and over again.
May god save our country, while I pray and look for a place far from all the crowd, sound and pollution of the so called modern developed countries? I might get lucky to find such a tranquil place in some remote part of Africa or in the poles or perhaps may have to wait till we manage to get our neighbor planets livable with oxygen and water.

On the banks of Brahmaputra
AN EVENING BESIDES THE BRAHMAPUTRA
Brahma putra is the only river called a male river [‘nath’ in Hindi instead of ‘nathi’ the way other rivers are known] the Brahmaputra which originates from the Himalayas is at its majestic best while flowing through Assam. I have crisscrossed the river many times from Tezpur, Jalghat near Jorhat and many times on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra , when I stayed for some time in Guwahati, capital of Assam. Sitting on the banks of Brahmaputra I have spent hours alone with only the rivers giggling sound during the nights my thoughts have taken me to visit different places and a variety of thoughts thinking of evolution and the cyclic phases the earth may have gone through those billions of years in its, existence and the natural changes over centuries and millions of years.
The river is so wide in some places and one gets the same feel as near an ocean. The other bank is barely visible. More than that, the life of so many species in the river with sea lions type creatures jumping over the water there are even dolphins of different variety, the current is also very forceful the ferries have to sail in an angular way 1when ferrying against the currents coughing and puffing. I have thoroughly enjoyed my evenings sitting beside the river calm and giggling in the silent night. The moonlit nights gives us ecstatic beauty of the nature. The Kaziringa reserved forests most popularly known for Rhinosours and so many rare creatures, birds and animals. I missed the beauty of the river on the banks of Dibrughar where, the river is encroaching upon the land slowly and some even mentioned that the town Dibrugarh is being eaten mainly because of its low lying landscape.
There are some very big deltas with the river flowing on from both sides. The river is famous for floods during summers as a result of melting glaciers and also during rainy season. The people living on the banks must have seen the fury of the river on many occasions. I am very disturbed to know the melting of ice peaks which are fast disappearing. These rivers including Ganga, Saraswathy, are mainly the life line for fresh water needs of the entire northeast and central north India. I have also seen the dry Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad which was dry for so many years, the people actually started living on the riverbeds. Off late since, last few years the rains in North West India was slightly steadier the dry and summer heat has killed cattle and wrecked havoc among the people who unfortunately live downstream and seldom gets enough fresh water, adding to their woes building dams in upstream places have actually aggravated the hardship of those tribes and socially backward people who depends mainly on natural water sources for their cultivation and drinking needs, we must also be aware that they have nothing else to fall back on for a living.
Our country must have answers for the future growing needs for fresh water due to our increasing population and the receding or drying up of the rivers. Now most cases have been the loss of cattle and agriculture. As time goes on the same fate awaits our countries’ poor people mainly farmers, unless we address this issue seriously. Freshwater scarcity is one of the main disturbing factors looming in front, of all other problems of Energy needs, pollution related issues, hydro electric power generation also may come down drastically due to the freaky weather patterns, wind turbines on sea shores are viable, other energy sources of atomic power reactors, are risky for the whole planet as the leaks may prove more devastating and destructive than what we experienced at Bhopal decades ago. There is even scope for wiping out all living beings from the face of our planet including green vegetations.
The fact that three fourth of our earth is sea water hardly matters when it comes to drinking needs.
The idea of joining the rivers to help otherwise dry areas is worth considering, with an ultimate aim of providing for our thirsty masses equally and without any partiality.
Even thinking of a north without Ganges just does not fit well for any One view of the whole phases our human kind is going through is in a cycle which keeps repeating, again and again with floods wiping out vast inhabited areas to only create livable conditions else where, that cycle happens with millions of years for a single cycle to start and the evolution happens followed by devastation man made or natural calamities. The geological survey gets struck on one excavation after the other where the past existence of people, animals some are even extinct for ever is disclosed all throughout the world. They even found recently human existence under kilometers of thick ice in the poles.
These are signs that no place on earth is safe for ever, considering the possibilities of calamities when it happens, where and why, is not known to mankind. We can only salvage from what ever is left after the strike by natures fury and mystery. If one is able to grasp the wholeness of our world, with more wisdom we can see that how little we are and our helpless state, against nature, leaves all human beings desiring for a more congenial and tolerant world free of wars, warriors and become saviors of other helpless people helping each other in times of need without communal or political considerations.
On most occasions people who are fighting each other some times unites while confronting a third alien, or enemy. Like wise I pray for an alien from outer space to come and challenge the earth and its people, at least then, we might actually unite to fight the aliens.

volatile market, farm suicides and rising communalism
VOLATILE MARKET, FARM SUICIDES AND RISING COMMUNALISM
Our country after more than 60 years of independence has experienced ups and downs in many fronts. More intriguing fact of late has been the rising intolerance towards different beliefs and cultures among our countrymen. This is unacceptable in a country where we are supposed to be preaching, if not practicing equal rights to all our citizen irrespective of his/her caste or religion and our country has evolved as a true democracy in all spheres, but for a few hiccups when it comes to our record of tolerant levels towards other religions and beliefs. As a true secularist democratic country of 1.2 billion population, unless we are tolerant to all our brothers and sisters irrespective of his or her religion or caste, we can not survive or co exist if our own people practice hatred and starts killing only because of ones’ religion . It is a shame on a great country and its wonderful people, and the land of Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi both preached rightly, ahimsa and tolerance towards all our countrymen who has lived together for centuries and have a cultural bond among our populace who co existed and appreciated the good side of all religions for centuries before the British rule. They were guilty of dividing our huge country which was the only way of ruling. [Readers may recall their administrative mantra of “divide and rule”] That was the beginning of ugly politicians using the religion card and has practiced it ever since.
More disturbing and haunting is the farmer suicides last year when the number of suicides was more than 17000 and considering the number of families affected is in lacks, and is so harrowing and reminds one of the famine periods few decades back in Ethiopia and during thirties in Bengal. The so called strong fundamentals and the figure of economy rising @ 9 % are shown as parameters of a resurgent and strong economy.
These figures in effect hardly has any significance if one takes the plight of the majority of our population, who are still dependant on agriculture and have been taking the brunt of our thoughtless approach towards development. The mind boggling foreign reserves and rising rupee value can not hide the hardship faced by our farmers. Our think tank is so obsessed with the rising share market, which itself has been showing signs of volatility in recent times and rightly proves that all is not well in the market or in other words the market is still being manipulated by bulls hence, can not be termed as foolproof and we still could not put in place a mechanism to check the foul players taking advantage of their might at the cost of small investors of our country. The small and marginal investors are also responsible for their greed and have rushed in to make it big in haste, while the wise investors have been hesitant in expecting big returns in short periods and have stayed invested irrespective of the turmoil and have let go of many such opportunities for short time gains. The most prudent approach during volatility is to insulate ourselves from getting hit in the market by apportioning only a small percentage of the savings. Those who borrowed for investing in shares aiming for a rise in a short span of time have lost most of their funds as the lenders inevitably takes their share with interest at the first instance thereby, leaving the borrowers stranded and eventually losing what ever little they had as savings.

As for the action of our government towards our hapless farmers has been little or what ever was meant for bailing out our farmers in distress has been gobbled up by the middlemen who acts as if they are the saviors of the farmers, only to trick them while, they make money highlighting the plight of the farmers, who on the other side can only look upwards for any mercy from the almighty by way of rain or divine help, there too destiny does not seem to be working in their favors, as the sky too has been very harsh in terms of unpredictable climate coupled with extreme weather at times too hot or too cold for any farming activity to bring good harvests.
On top of all these curses is the other nightmare called the communalism and fundamentalist terrorism? That too has taken its toll on human beings globally and is seen rising day by day. The ugly politicians find it the right time for good harvest in terms of votes and most of the political parties worldwide have been seen playing for the gallery with the sole aim of making political gains and also for usurping power which in turn is the gateway for wealth for most of them. The reason why they keep on adding fuel to fire is that, only then can they fish in such troubled waters without any body actually noticing their activities. There seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel for the time being and one wonders how many people are going to suffer and for how long. We definitely don’t have answers for now.
The nature absolutely will take its own course to maintain balance as we have witnessed throughout our history, that every time man and his grand ideas has been shattered by mother nature overnight before they realize what has hit them only for the cycle to repeat and meet with an end which ensures the beginning of the next cycle of life. But no matter how many such cycles have preceded our generation but people still haven’t changed much.
These are my thoughts and observation of the current state of affairs globally and more about our nation which is passing through a period of uncertainty, the cause mainly as always are that we simply don’t learn from our mistakes and results of the past due to our own false ego and one up man ship. But all good and bad things do come to an end. We can see from history of mankind that on each occasions the mighty rulers have all perished. The Moguls by British, British empire by Germany and Japan, Germany and Napoleon by harsh and bitter cold winter of Russia these are only a few examples which comes to ones’ mind. Like wise global balance will be maintained by our mother nature with its balancing acts sooner or later. The wise who thinks they have every wealth will soon find how foolish they were for all the wealth and knowledge is not enough for fools.
