GREATEST BLUNDERS OF THE MILLINIUM.
The wars fought in Iraq and Afghanistan has cost US about 700 billion dollars and all that they managed was to kill millions of civilians and soldiers who were fighting for their respective countries. Their justification for this inhuman and most barbaric act was combating terrorism. The Second World War itself was so devastating and the generation which witnessed and suffered most is still alive and can be seen explaining, the horrors of the wars right from their hearts and memory of those suffered men and women. That war changed the fortunes of many European countries for the worse, while countries like India benefited by attaining freedom from the British.
Another winner of those times was Americans who succeeded, because they fought with the help of atom bombs, which has become the most terrible of all the weapons of mass destruction [WMD in their own language],that exists today as the deadliest among all those chemical and conventional weapons, ever used by mankind. God knows where all these weapons, stockpiled by almost a dozen countries can be dumped or how long one is able to preserve those stockpiles; the fate of mankind is uncertain and gloomed. Any day if some guy some where, makes a mistake all are going to perish. People are scared even to discuss such matters of great importance; more trouble is ahead as the nuclear bombs now can be procured from different parts of the world with money power when, one of these carrier nations may sell it for their temporary survival during famines or out of sheer frustration and depression some guy might just decide to end it all.
Especially, the period we are undergoing is so bad and has now got worse with the human blunders one by one by the so called developed nations. The situation is grim and the need of the hour is good leaders who can think and act for the survival of the world as a whole. This is no time for petty politics. There are tough times ahead and the UN is the only body, which can play an active role in bringing order to the crazy world of today.
Americans have spent and perished due to the huge war expenditure, that too at the cost of millions if lives lost. I am sure 90 percent of the death happened to those innocent civilians, who had nothing to do with terrorism or anti human activities. Even the worst villain and at the top of the list of wanted criminals by US is the product of their covert anti soviet games played during the cold war era. Just to please and mislead American citizens Bush administration was citing the Sept 11, culprits and made it look like those killed were connected to all America’s woes and were hence told to be the enemy of US. The truth could not have been any where near their assumption. The ultra’s actually wanted the US to kill innocent Muslims so as to rekindle their backlash, which was the ultimate goal of the terrorists. Bush did exactly as they wanted it to happen and the results, war torn countries, suffering of a whole generation, the war that has left thousands of bitter children in the Middle East orphaned by US’ reckless killings and a whole generation of Muslims hating the Americans. Don’t forget about the millions killed in Japan, Vietnam and Europe. The sins have mounted up on a whole generation. Even if they start to mend their ways it may still take generations to get rid of the curse of the dead and the living.
For the Jews it took about 20 generations to experience hardship, struggle and lived as gypsies not owning a place on earth for them, they lived out generations with the curse on them. But at last, Israel as a country was born, given as a gift to them after the Second World War. But even today they are paying back for their forefathers’ sin of having crucified Jesus Christ. For Americans how long will it take to free themselves of their sinful actions in the last millennium alone? May god save the innocent and punish the sinners.
