IN THE EYE OF THE STORM
Recent upswings we saw in our market are mainly due to the huge amount flowing to India especially from US by way of FII’s. It has been the result of the returns rather, more value for money, which must have been the reasons for the flow even after SEBI’s tightening of screws. Earlier lessons tell us that it may be a ploy of the powerful and bullish elements from abroad. American economists, has managed after their great depression periods during 1930s to dump the shocks and setbacks of their economy on others’ shoulders. Looking back what happened to the Asian markets just before the fall in late nineties is somewhat similar. Asian countries led by Japan and Korea took the brunt of the fall and it must have taken them years to come out of their mess.
Likewise, USA is now on the verge of an economic crisis and very badly wants to shove the burden on other countries so as to save their economy from the brink of a disaster.
Federal Reserve equaling to our RBI had to pump in 40 billion dollars to bail out Citibank corp. from the sub prime crisis. One can see the amount pumped in, which itself is huge and one gets the feeling, as only the tip of the iceberg. Like a person about to drawn is tending to take others’ neck as well in a frantic effort to survive. We have to be vary of the fund flow which when withdrawn all on a sudden may have a huge impact on our market. SEBI should be watching out for the source of the funds and must ensure that our market is saved, if in case it is a part of a larger scheme. The correction drop has to be gradual and should be considering buffer funds to insulate and take care of any eventuality.
We cannot allow our people to suffer for the blunders committed by others. At the end of such phases have seen ultimately the common average people suffering the most as the rich always can fall back on alternate arrangements.
There was this incident which happened in my younger days, in the late eighties when there was a publicity stunt of ‘double your money scheme’ and people were assured of double the amount they invest in a couple of weeks time. Initial weeks saw them actually making the payment of double amount thereby attracting more investments. Then people started to run berserk and rushed in to make double profit only in two weeks, queuing up to remit and those who were paid double, re- invested double the amount till sometime and when the fund became huge the promoters disappeared, leaving all those hapless people who, fell for the trap, dry and empty. The present Bull Run in the market reminds me of that happening and wanted to suggest investors in shares only to the limit of ten to twenty percent of their savings thereby limiting risk exposure to manageable limit.
How ever, our country is so huge in terms of fundamentals and basically can withstand any setback in the near future, purely for the reason that with over a billion people and mainly skilled man power who is virtually running the show all around the world and with the best brains among contemporary races can also absorb ambushes, without much of a problem. Hence, there is no need of panic reactions and may feel assured of the abilities of our government led by Sri. Manmohan singh who himself is a genius.

MOTHER, WIFE AND DAUGHTER
All human beings born in this world is born to a mother, as a result of loving parents who is the first contact of any child. Mothers are the symbol of love, affection and care and go through months of carriage ending with painful delivery, immediately afterwards she starts to feed the child and is the first teacher or guru of the child teaching how to talk walk and speak till the time, when a child become a boy or a girl who can independently take care of his or her needs.
Likewise, when a child grows up, in normal circumstances, starts a family and has a companion to live with while sharing love, thoughts and inputs to take them through the journey of life together in good and bad times. In life if we look deeper the role of mothers and wives are much harder and if the women concerned is employed then it is very taxing on them both physically and mentally and makes it all the more difficult while, men are seldom equipped to deal with such demanding schedule, which only a women does it most honorably and is amazing to see their patience while dealing in the domestic and official roles to be played or lived. On most occasions joint family mechanism has its positive role when it comes to rearing children their grant parents are mostly at ease taking care of their grandchildren and in normal cases they communicate well between them thus making it slightly easier for working women. Women in nuclear families find it harder to allocate time for her job and most importantly her family.
It is a thankless job and women take the brunt of hardships without complaining. They in fact go through hell if the man or her husband is naïve towards her hardships and acts selfish. Men are by nature stronger and when the intention is good can contribute a lot in seeing the work is shared at home or can at least be an understanding soul, thereby being more patient towards his better half and can be more sympathetic towards women under stress. For some it may seem to be an easy task but if one is able to grasp and analyze the usual days work minutely one can see that a woman’s job though menial in nature and may look easier, in real is stressful and most time consuming .The pent up stress at times may erupt like a volcano, which is normally the result of stress and never ending hard work which is routine in a family with children. Men instead of under standing the root cause or reason behind reacts roughly making it from bad to worse.
When a couple starts their family life a man can actually see the part of wives’ role as more tougher and to make things more complicated , is the fact that women normally are the ones married of to a different family and has to start all over new in a different family and the circumstances also becomes new and the problem of the acclimatizing to different people from what she has been living with while being with her parents is suddenly changed and see herself among total strangers in most cases and endures silently for the sake of the family. If the woman is employed as well then it becomes all the more hard and difficult. They have to wakeup so early to prepare food for the morning and afternoon before she goes to work and usually comes back very tired only to see that the cleaning and cooking chores is never ending adding to the need of tuition and helping their children with their studies and homework, again to be followed by the need for dinner, dishwashing etc; For some the release of the accumulated stress by way of shouting can result in dangerous consequences if the husband is a rough guy or may not be a ‘gentle’man and might actually hurt the helpless wife supported by her in-laws who waits for such situations to get even with the intruder who is the ‘bahu’[daughter-in-law] in India. We all may at times experience the outbursts of the women in the house but seldom think of the reason behind or refuse to accept the tough job of mother hood and the pent up or suppressed feelings as a result of long and hard life. The most common causes of quarrel may be complaint about the quality of the food or the delay in serving etc; such trivial matters at times may end up to serious differences and actually can be avoided with little effort and reasoning by men.
Gender wise the woman of the species is far more superior to men and deserves to be appreciated and revered. I respect them and am convinced that their contribution for a harmonious family life is far more important and can not be replaced, if one wants to bring up children as responsible citizens with compassion for humanity as a whole.
The most disturbing news for me in recent times has been the alarming rate of female infanticide and the gender violence and cruelty against women. For a true warrior it is a shame to fight someone who is weaker. A brave man is the one who concur the mighty, not someone who unleashes his power towards a weak women. I am with our countries’ women folks in their fight against cruelty and male atrocities against women. I hope and pray that our land respects women and consider female child as a blessing. I have seen most mothers in their old age like to be with their daughters rather than their daughter in laws. Those people who destroy female fetuses may actually suffer in their old age with no one around to take care of them. Tough laws against such sinful acts are the need of the hour. The doctor who helps in female infanticide should be dealt with firmly and sufficient laws should be enacted if it is not in place already. That alone and so many other measures has to be undertaken to check such practices in our country especially in Hariyana and Punjab where, the bridegrooms are already searching for brides in neighboring states due to the ratio in those states is less number of girls to the number of boys.

VICTIMS OF CIRCUMSTANCES.
Atmospheric temperatures of our planet earth has been on the rise as we went about building factories coughing out plumes of black smoke round the clock while number of vehicles on the road has been multiplying at a rate which is mind boggling. The carbon de-oxide would have been converted by our green mass of trees in to oxygen had we been steadily planting more and more trees, instead we were madly cutting down the trees which, had drastically contributed to global warming ,leave alone the other side effects of erosion etc, The rise in the temperatures globally will certainly have a high impact as the melting of glaciers, will in the beginning flood rivers and sea level increase will wipe out most of the low lying landscapes over a period of time.
The erratic behavior of the climate change is definitely going to harm humankind and the survival or the existence of human beings may lie beneath, as we have seen the dinosaurs and so many other species which have vanished from the face of the earth. As responsible citizens we have to realize the dangers of rising temperatures and start reversing the situation as fast as we can, so that the effects may be reduced gradually thereby limiting the disaster to some extent.
The Europeans has mostly come to terms with the imminent danger, Americans has been indifferent in addressing this issue, though it was heartening to note that the efforts of Al-Gore former American presidential candidate who lost to the junior Bush and has embarked on a mission in support of the reduction of green gas omission drastically to revert the effects of global warming.
The urgency of the period has to be understood and drastic measures have to be undertaken, only then can we actually hold on and see to our dear earth’s well being. Also in the process we may actually succeed and see that we leave behind a livable atmosphere for our future generations. United Nations will have to make some hard decisions to press for reduction of green gas emissions especially the so called developed countries led by USA which alone is contributing to more than fifty percent of the emission level of green gas.
The most important thing to remember is that the further we go away from mother nature the more dangerous it is going to be in the future. In U K a recent news item revealed that the wind power alone will be sufficient for their energy needs in the near future, which is reusable and does not involve any pollution. Like wise all developed and developing countries have to be in total understanding and turn to reusable energy sources such as wind, sun and hydro electric projects. Atomic energy is always a danger to depend on as time and again it was proved to have disastrous impact of radiation leakage which can wipe off almost all living beings in vast areas. We are not yet sure how fool proof the nuclear technology is, which only experts may be able to answer.
The importance of the present situation can not be ignored for long for it may end the fate of the human race forever. Or at least may hasten the journey towards doomsday. Apart from a major portion of humanity other living creatures also may perish for a mistake which was not of their making. We only can blame ourselves. The natures fury at times have shown how little and helpless we are when it comes to natural calamities like storms, earthquakes, wild fires. Having experienced all such calamities still we don't take notice of the power of the nature or the dangers of tinkling with the balance of earth's powers and our limited capacity to deal with enormous back fire of our nature. I sincerely hope and pray for all the countries to sit together and find out common grounds to deal with global warming and also pave ways for the future generations also to lead their lives in tandem with the nature.

THE ASSETS OF A COUNTRY
Indian population was for long considered as a handicap and it was seen as a hurdle for development and till some time ago, there were thoughts of putting a cap on how many children one can have as in China. But fortunately better sense prevailed and such thoughts were converted to publicity of the side effects of having large families, mainly the need of providing for many children ,be it good education or high and comfortable standard of living.
Chinese, though succeeded in controlling their growth of population, now may be thinking of the side effects again of having majority of the population either in old age category or in unproductive category in the lesser age group. The short fall suddenly of the productive age category in the future also may backfire on them. But that does not mean they were wrong in controlling the population growth. Other wise they would have been facing more devastating effects of abnormally high population.
We have succeeded to some extent to control the growth of population but I feel, more measures have to be initiated to see that we convert the productivity factor as our population is a huge asset. The manpower is the supreme power, if harnessed well, and given the skill of our enterprising young generation, who are second to none in whatever parameters one may evaluate.
More over, I don’t think any country is wealthier in terms of the volume of gold in possession of the population. Our women possess, to a rough estimate of mine, more gold than all other countries put together or at least some where near to that estimate.
Though we may look as a poor country with hungry masses, the wealth of our country can not be under estimated. We possess huge volume of assets like gold, {mainly ornaments] leave alone other natural resources. I have a gut feeling which tells, the next big source of energy is the solar energy. We have abundant source of the same and even a pessimist may agree that we are in fact a very rich country which is about to explode and assert our position as the leader in almost all aspects. Whether that is going to happen in our lifetime is yet to be seen though, we are almost there.
Our main problem, especially in the northern states, is that the slow emergence of middle class as a stronger and majority among our population, which has happened in southern states and is not happening at the desired pace in the states like UP, MP, Bihar etc.
The middle class values according to me, are the best in the country, as they seldom show off in front of the downtrodden or the poor masses. After all what can one gain by showing off in front of the poorest, for whom, a good meal per day is the main attraction.
I have seen especially in Kerala women not wearing many ornaments even though they may possess much, during functions. The same is the case with well educated girls these days. Apart from few among them, majority is compassionate towards the poor and really wants to contribute towards their society for the development of the poorest in our country.

RIGHTS OF LIBERTY
RIGHTS OF LIBERTY
India has been the main news internationally mainly because of our population of over a billion people our country has almost one fifth of the total human population. But the land area is not in proportion in comparison as our country is not as vast as we would have liked it. China is about six times larger and area population ratio will show that our country is the most thickly populated and people per square kilometer are the highest. As our population increased the land area occupied by people spread thick and fast resulting encroachment of forests. This has been proving disastrous and have left the animals no place to hide leave alone their other problems such as access to drinking water and food. Already we can see the daily news items of elephants and wild animals wandering about and stumbling upon villages.
Well there seem to be no opposition when the animals right of living has been ignored while, there are so much opposition against the land grabbing being done by the Government, animals on the other hand does not find any supporters and have been losing ground steadily throughout the history. The next target is the poorest among the poor, the small farmers with what little land that was left, is now being targeted by the big corporate houses in the name of development and progress with the steady support of the Govt. Machinery.
The idea of cost effectiveness and cheaper productivity can not be justified, if the land acquisition was done forcibly against the farmers’ wish. His right to livelihood is a bigger issue and can not be forcibly thrown out of his farm land unless he agrees to an alternate arrangement or offer. Like wise the special legislation empowering the govt. to acquire any such land in the larger interest of the state or the country, is also debatable and does not guarantee safety to any citizen or his land.
As a democracy, which boasts of civil liberty and rights of all her citizen, the contrast in approach towards the right to lively- hood and the right to own land can not be ignored.
Even if the effected party is only one person still the Govt. is under obligation to provide these fundamental rights, leave alone all other basic needs such as drinking water ,food, electricity, transportation, protection etc. Each and every citizen has a right to live and the government is supposed to be seeing and ensuring that the basic fundamentals are provided without hindrance rather than being hindrance to their lives.
Farmers’ suicides these days are becoming a non event and no one seems to be in a hurry to address this issue, while the takeovers and market swings and the few rich Indians doing well in the international level seems to be the front cover stories of almost all magazines and newspapers. The claims of 9 to 10 percent growth and share markets’ which are booming are all seen as the big success story of our country. But the ground situation or reality shows our poor have in real become poorer while, the rich as always are getting richer. The word inclusiveness has become the latest mantra but nobody has actually included our farmers in their scheme of things.
We need a national movement for the causes of the poor farmers. They have to be subsidized and guided before they perish. The development, progress and industrialization can not be at the cost of our poor farmers. The government has to gear up and lift those farmers above the poverty line as a primary target before embarking on further development and land acquisitions. The urgency of the country shown in fast track development of infrastructure instead, should be on the farming side which is still the primary livelihood of almost 70 percent of our population.

Americab folly and the looming dangers
From my childhood I have been fascinated with the progress made by US, whether it is true or a window dressing act, time will prove .Their economy in real perhaps, is a bubble about to burst. The fact that the industrial revolution happened in U S, and its population according to some at least, is claimed to be the most enterprising and the tenacity has no doubt achieved so much due to their eternal fighting spirit and cruelty and has no peers. Very few countries can boast of having a life style which, as seen from an outsider’s perspective, looks the most dynamic success story. But the fact of the matter is whether they can maintain the same level of progress for longer period .Their frantic efforts to expand its business across the globe going for new markets to satisfy their high flying life styles and its costs may not be prove to be successful, because of the competition and unpredictable happenings which can boomerang. Be it the natures balancing acts or the retribution from their foes, all of them have the scope of negative effect which can tumble any so called strong economy. For the Americans it is already showing the signs of taking a beating in the near future. The sense of urgency shown in atomic energy tie up with India is the proof that all is not well with them. The war expenditure is mounting and very soon they may have to withdraw from Iraq .The weakening of the green buck is the other source of worry for them as Euro is gaining and is seen much stronger and dependable. Now the situation is going to fall apart if China or India backs up. They need at least one of these countries to be their partner or else it is dooms day for them. China has always been seen with suspicion hence, the urgency in taking along India which is a stable democracy and has all the ingredients to make things click for them. So without tacit support from India, things look very grim for their future.
As far as India is concerned the big question is whether it suits us or is it really in line with our scheme of future development, our need for energy is obvious and urgent. But our past records and experiences may show that US never was our ‘best friend’, but as two of the most accomplished democracies we can find common ground, more over we have most number of skilled manpower working in US hence, things as it stands may benefit us in the long run provided Americans too reciprocate evenly.
The fruits of friendship between our two countries are logically and mutually beneficial. More to Americans, as we are in fact bailing them out of the mess they are in. But there are so many other issues more pressing, and have to be addressed before we enter in to an alliance of our businesses.
There are alternative tie-ups with other like minded countries, which also will prove its worth if we decide to give a skip to the 123 agreement. So like our prime minister rightly pointed out it is not the end of the road as far as the deal or alternative arrangements for us are concerned.
Coming back to the progress of America in the last few centuries and the side effects of their life styles is also debatable, the results are only to be seen and evaluated. But the- capitalistic and market oriented economy has its own draw backs and the first sign of vulnerability has started showing of late.
If we go backwards from the early days when Columbus sailed in search of India, where wealth and prosperity awaited him and stumbled upon American continent instead and those deadly red Indians [who were named so by default] who fought against the intruders and as a result was massacred along with the animals, with the help of the fire power of the gun powder .Then came the era of slaves from Africa who were rounded up and was shipped to USA and was made to work in the fields and factories, which again was possible only because they had guns while the African natives like the red Indians had to fight with arrows ,bows and swords.
Then, the revolt of those Americans against the British monarchy, which till then had held those vast territories and the income generated through the hard work of the slaves and the rich natural resources the land had unlike many other landscapes. The lure of richness made people go mad after wealth and land, and resulted again in bloodshed between the friends turned foes. Life and death became so cheap that in seconds an individual can turn to a murderer and the fate of the living was always hanging in thin edge.
The fate of red Indians were doomed in no time and the Americans [who were actually of Europeans origin] then succeeded in throwing out the British as well in no time.
Ever since then they had gone on and on with their highly consumerist and wayward life styles, which actually was animal like and without any remorse or regret they kept on gobbling up the vast resources of the land without any second thought for the generations to follow. The highly materialistic and sinful lifestyles made their children grow to become highly restless and reckless citizens, children as we all know are flexible as well as vulnerable during the adolescent years they need parental guidance and co existence to feel secured. The care and love of their parents normally make them grow to be a responsible human being with love for humanity and learns to respect elders and most of all have compassion towards their fellow countrymen and humanity as a whole.
These traits were absent in American society which has resulted in broken families and the side effects which follows is of hatred towards all and sundry. This can prove to be very dangerous for the society. Most of the cruel members in our society are the recipient of cruelty in their child hood, as can be seen from real life experience of many such criminals. The cultureless society without value for righteous thinking led to the evolving of less and less matured people and without any order or systematic grooming, the future generations became more and more impatient and ruthless. The role of Christianity in maintaining sensible behavior and good grooming of the children was negligent or rather ineffective.
The spiritual outlook is the most important ingredient in any human being to transform and grow to be a balanced and matured human being. We can see the poor slum dwellers in India is actually in most cases ,more at ease and lives more happily than most of those big and mighty rich Americans . There is harmony in living together, though in thatched -huts instead of big houses .What is the use of Palatial Bungalows or luxury apartments and pent houses if you have no one to live in there? Or is left alone and the loneliness may even result in depression and psychological disorders.
The American society had gone too far deeper and had almost reached a point of no return .The society allowed directly or indirectly the sinners to go from bad to worse as far as the moral discipline was concerned.
The result of the last few centuries of madness is there to be seen. I read some where that almost 50 percent of the children in their early teenage do not even know the name of their father. If that is called modern and sophisticated society and is being shown as the best examples to be emulated, I feel, the guys have got it all wrong .It will certainly start boom ranging with a disastourous end in sight as can be seen from the School shootings and the worldwide hatred towards Americanism and their wretched way of life.
The telltale signs are there to be seen and the future looming of the black clouds are shutting us off from the rejuvenating light of the sun god, adding to which is the fear of the un known results of global warming and the disasters awaiting humanity. The sinners will perish along with many or huge number of innocent lives.
The only way-out is to understand the graveness of the situation and drastic change in attitude is the need of the hour. They can look and observe our Indian way of living and the age old scriptures left behind by far more civilized and scientific people who wrote our VEDAS and UPANISHADS apart from other thousands of scriptures which are there for all to look forward and understand the real meaning of life and the art of living.
There are answers to all our problems and queries in those very scientific scriptures which are thousands of years older and have a divine nature to it. {Readers may visit the sites of Indian Institute of Scientific Heritage for more on Indian culture, tradition, and age-old practices]

GODS' OWN COUNTRY AND THE HISTORY BEHIND
Having born in Kerala [he Kerala tourism board later named it as the Gods’ own country, perhaps to attract tourists] I have seen and experienced the culture in almost all districts of kerala, the population is split approximately 20 percent each Christian ,Muslims and the rest 60 percent of majority Hindus, along with Jews, Jains, Buddhists Sikhs etc.
The southernmost Indian state has it all seen it all kind of people, who are intelligent hence, carries the burden of being neglected by big Industrial houses mainly due to the so called lien towards Marxism and Communism, who were mainly responsible for the empowerment of the socially backward field laborers who were working and enhancing the vast wealth, for centuries in the fields , for the land owners to get richer and lead life luxuriously at the cost of the labor of the socially backward communities. This inequality was first addressed by the communist govt. {First time in the history of mankind through election] elected in the late fifties. The land owners overnight became the landless almost but for their houses, off course, but for a lull period, due to the surprise element, they all have come up again in life through education and sheer intelligence which was their strong point. That again doesn’t mean others were less intelligent or have not come up in the ladder. Today’s’ Kerala leads highly in Healthcare, Literacy rate, and has now become the most sought after land destination for tourists from all over the world.
The triggering point must have been the boost which the National Geographic Channel gave, by rating it as the one among the top “MUST SEE DESTINATIONS”. The parameters were Scenic beauty, access by all three Modes, Sea, Air and Road. The panoramic beauty of sea beaches coupled with beautiful mountain resorts and sea faring people who can live in house boats and wander about for weeks in the backwaters or the rivers ,while they are treated with the age old and trusted Ayur Vedic Treatment which, as the name suggests has roots in ‘VEDIC periods considered to be at least thousands of years old and source of which is considered rightly divine though, some say, that almost or more than fifty percent have been lost or is now extinct due to our own ignorance and follies. People mistakenly was more attracted to those highly consumerist life styles of the western world, who were actually floundering their vast land, the process of its possession is still debatable as no person with a sound mind and balanced thoughts can do what the Europeans did to the native red Indians and poor negros of Africa, The use of gun powder was the only edge while massacring the red Indians and the animal wild. No system or fair playing man can forgive easily the curse behind accession of wealth or property by way of brutally destroying mother earth and eating up fast and quick the resources without any feel of guilt or remorse. Leave alone the fate of our mother earth by global warming and rising sea waves and levels added with the melting of our snow covered mountains and glaciers the balances of nature are being ignored by our so called developed nations.
I was told the other day that the emission levels by U S alone contribute to more than fifty percent of the total emissions. They still don’t realize the dangers. May god save all of us?
Coming back to Kerala, though not intentional the people revolted against industrialization and big Industries on the one side the villages are still more or less the same and preferred to go out to other places including foreign countries mainly to gulf, where they were building cities with the oil money, Malaya lees working outside kerala are considered among the best by any yardstick.
Their contributions alone have made the state survive all the tough periods. Now our main revenue may come out of tourisms [Health and vacation including the feel of gods own country] the first Christian church in India came up in Kodungallur [ancient name of the capital of Cheraman perumal was Musharis] of St.Thomas who was a direct disciple of Jesus Christ, hence must be at least 2000 years old nearby which, is the oldest Muslim shrine in India. Not leaving behind the most clean and pandas free temples lead by Guruvayoor{Sri Krishna Temple}Mammiyoor Shiva temple Sri Ayyappaa Temple Devi temples at Kodungallur, Chottanikkara,Meenkulathil Bhagavathi Amman, Kadampuzha Devi temple only to name very few among those thousands of temples.
The Western Ghats and Nilgiris protect Kerala from the heat waves of the north while the Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal sees that the state is always cool and humid. Adding to these is the number of rivers with water throughout the year, Sea food etc, One can go on and on I wanted all the people to come and experience our rich culture which can be the leading light for the divided world where people are killing people god knows why, there is harmony in diversity at gods own country

MANAGEMENT MANTRAS
MANAGEMENT MANTRAS.
The successful business people in the recent times have been mostly Indians, some without any track record of studies in management of big corporate or the calculative percentage who makes it big through financing and earning profits through taxing the unfortunate lot who, during troubles approach financiers only to be trapped as a result of the never ending interest and principle payment.
The sad plight of our farmers is indication enough of the unfair means used to earn wealth by some of those cunning guys who thinks the wealth as the only answer to all our questions.
Those are the people, I have seen from real life experience, suffering mostly due to the burden of holding vast fortunes, which in turn makes them even sleepless due to their fear of protecting the same and the never ending quest for more and more as one American businessman once remarked to a question of a reporter who enquired the limit up to which he wants to earn? His answer was always one dollar more.
At the end of it all is the other question what difference does one make by living once, to all those people of the society and family members and the world at large. Money does not replace the inner happiness one gets when seeing others enjoy the benefit of your life’s efforts rather than the hindrance to others’ life while you make money out of the suffering of other human beings.
We in India have scientific approach to all those different management techniques for about at least, 20 thousand years our scriptures in Sanskrit have koudilya’s and other
Sastras[science] as can be verified, which has survived like no other written scripts in the history of mankind ,the established thought of Europe and Caspian sea side as the origin of modern culture is rubbish as can be proved by the written existence of those Vedas,Upanishads etc, and found in India which, has been copied by the so called patrons[westerners] even to the point of making patent rights in their favor.[Refer Indian institute of scientific heritage sites]
The success story of Indians making it big in the international arena was not a surprise for our business people of Rajasthan , Gujrat and so many other states with communities who were in the business field for generations and most of them have the capability of outshining in any given field with fare play. Once when our license based economy was replaced by an open playing field for all and sundry, it was only a matter of when rather than if we can do it or not.
Lack of opportunity was the ultimate hindrance. We have learned enough lessons to know what is best for us.
I was deeply concentrating on the pulses in different places of India having had the opportunity to travel and work in different places and in different cultures in India it self from North East to down south. My own experiences have taught me many a lesson in dealing with different problems and different solutions in difficult situations.
Now most of our Metro cities have come to a level of stagnation and is unable to provide space for anymore far reaching development. The result is searching for more developments with better infrastructures. Our experience has again taught us the far-reaching consequences of development without planning as can be seen from our metros, during flooding and epidemics born out of our own blunders or lack of sensitivity towards our future generations, who may suffer mainly due to the lackluster attitude of the present generations.
The importance of the second line of metros have become more important here, with Cochin with access to undersea optic cables connected to the Middle East and Coimbatore with its vast human resources and inward remittances, both Cochin and Coimbatore has become the cynosure of all eyes as these are the places where we can plan more ahead and make successful business centers and manufacturing hubs without getting stagnated in the future as was seen in four of our metros .For that to happen we have to start looking far ahead while going about the growth of our infrastructure and also must make sure we leave behind a better and more healthier environment for the future generations.
As our outgoing president pointed out, if we can make a billion people smile then our life will be more worthier than those big billionaires who refuse to share their vast wealth with the hungry and hopeless. History will not remember a person who was the richest, but certainly will remember those noble people, who made the life of the suffering human kind better and made them smile.

Global changes
_GLOBAL CHANGES
----------
So many of you must have come across the recent news item about Greenland. Beneath the layers and plates of ice the scientists found traces of life which must have been the possible about 450000 Years ago [They did in fact drill and reached about 24 kms deep underneath Greenland.]
To know that life was possible in those parts did make me think and come out with a satisfying answer for, how did then it changed the place into bitter cold and uninhabitable as it is found today? The only possible reason must have been the twist of earth’s rotation, while spinning itself or the change occurred with a mighty meteor hit, which made difference to the sides facing the sun’s heat thereby making the different poles exposed. In that case we can also expect similar hits or misses in the future too. Now the question is whether we have the right protection if and when a meteor targets earth’s path.
Then I remembered a Hollywood movie, in which humankind faces a similar threat and sends rockets to destroy it before entry in the outer space itself. Though the movie had a happy ending, I pray that is so, if at all it happens in our lifetime or our children and grandchildren’s lifetime and for all those generations to follow.
Another explanation being the fact that underneath our earth the boiling hot lava must be cooling down as years go by which, also must have contributed to the cooling of the poles. If the second is the right answer then our anxiety for the global warming may be unwarranted. Anyway the unanswered questions of human kind are still the same we simply don’t have answers for the phenomenon of our universe.
Just think of the known facts that while our earth and other planets are spinning on its own while taking circles around the sun which along with the planets and other natural satellites is taking another big cycle which we don’t experience in one’s lifetime. We still don’t know beyond that .The circling of sun around what? Or how long one such circle? All we know is the fact that we are so very small and don’t know much beyond what we already know that we are circling around the sun and the sun is only one such star among billions of stars in milky way, which in turn is only a very small portion of billions of constellations that we know of and see in the sky. God only knows the rest.
Suppose we have other life forms in a typically earthlike planet in some other constellation, and have human beings like the people on earth and if it becomes possible to travel so many times faster than light and visit those planets and come back making good friendship with those creators or goes against them if what we have seen in the world happening now is the reality for there is fight and killings happening every single day. How can we be so naïve towards our own brothers and sisters? Are we not ashamed of ourselves for all fighting when there is possibility of forget and forgive policies? Why not we all start looking for possibilities of love instead of hate ness. Why is it that some people in the world do all those horrible killings? Why cant they all live life happily and enjoy those precious little time instead of all fighting and killings.
I believe there are solutions for any complex problems if only one is genuinely interested in loving every human being, irrespective of the color, religion, caste or country. Start looking at people with little warmth and compassion. I hope and pray it happens in our lifetime itself. We owe at least that much to our future generations.

We owe at least that much to our future generations.

worldviewnow
Deep in thought of our times and the recent happenings around the world has made me very uncomfortable and uneasy. The turmoil in Iraq continuing and like adding fuel on fire, the British have conferred knighthood for Salman Rushdie, which only have made the already anquished extremist muslims more against U.S and Britain.Even those moderates may feel irritated against the British untimely gestures, without a thought for the sensitivity of the common muslims.
If at all it was intended to show appreciation of freedom of thoughts and writings, the timing couldnot have been worse. The new generation muslims rather the youth ones are showing
their hatred of Americans and the British. They have certainly invited trouble by mismanaging the entire episodes, starting with the run for oil susequently turned in to different blocks allying themselves with US and earstwhile USSR. When US and allies witnessed the fall of soviat bloc
as a result of their own flawed communistic policies which never ever did happen or succed in any of those so called communist countries.
In fact the result of the Russian or Chinese revolution was dicatorships and never was the communism in theory.Through our history we have seen the rise and fall of all those so called communist countries. In practice all were dicatorship [Like old king and queen].Only difference was that the change of guard did take place and the power had shifted from royal, autocratic rulers to the leaders who were opposing their rule.
The only viable solution lies with the democracy, were people themselves chooses their rulers.
But when did actually the coldwar turn the tide against the US, who had actally used those muslim ultras in their war against Soviat Russia only to find those very ultras turn against them instead of Russia.
I feel the russians had won in their brain games with US,as can be seen in present times. The Russians, even though are struggling with their economy have no fear of those muslim ultras anymore, while the US and Britain along with their allies are now facing the worst.
US failed to see the backfire in the long run and as a result now is facing danger. In Hindiusm
they say that you will be the victim of your own actions.I feel now after all these blunders they still can manage without much bloodshed,if they get a thinking leader who must also be rightous, and to win back the backing of all the muslims in the world ,they need to rethink and reapproach to their middle east policies while they show their genuine concern for all those suffering mankind.
Money making and materiastic bliss is short lived and cannot produce good future generations. For that to happen they must sit back and think over their present policies and blunders.
